In the bay of Vlora there are some relics from WWI, WWII and Cold War, some of them can be visited by recreational divers Po Hospital Wreck: Maximum depth 36m, deck 18-23m, 140 long, visibility 5-15m, water temp. 17-25*C In Vlorë Bay, at maximum 35m deep (the deck 16-22m of depth), hosts one of the most impressive wreck in whole Adriatic Sea, the Italian medical ship ‘Po’ which was accidentally sunken by British torpedo bombers on March 14th, 1941. 

Due to the cover of night, the pilots did not realize the ship was a medical vessel, and the accidental attack caused 21 casualties, including four nurses. 

The ship also hosted Mussolini’s eldest daughter, Edda Ciano Mussolini, who was working on the ship as a nurse for the Red Cross and survived the attack.
